Positive: Spacious room. Clean. Warm. Access to balcony. Agata was nice, but I only met her upon check-out.

Negative: Check in - was told I needed to be there before 3p on Sunday (it was supposed to be between 2p-7p on Sun) in order to have staff available to check me in, or I'd have to call and wait 30 min for someone to let check me in. This left a window of 2-3p for check-in on Sunday. The person who checked me in was busy tending the restaurant, and basically handed me a bill, a form to complete, and then a key. Worse: There was no physical staff available to ask questions of during my 6 night stay. There was one pillow, one blanket, one coffee packet... sparse. Restaurant on main floor was rarely open -- only open before 3p on day I arrived, and on day before I left.

Summary: Sparse and required self-sufficiency - no access to hotel staff.

Positive: We had to travel a lot, so we didn't use the breakfast service, but the lunch dishes are delicious. We are very grateful to the staff for the opportunity to have a stress-free departure day and strict rules to move out at 10:00 or 11:00. We just left the key in the post box on our way out at 11:30 as it was much more convenient for us on our route to another city and the staff didn't see a problem with it. During the trip, such extra minutes and the attitude of the staff encourage you to return to this hotel.

Summary: Great place nice people with beautiful surroundings and convenient rail connection.
